In 1959 Waltz wrote in *Man, the State, and War* about three "images" of politics: the individual, the state, the international system. Waltz's “one big thing” was to view international politics in terms of structure, whether defined as the anarchy of the international system (in Man, the State and War) or its polarity (in Theory of International Relations). His two most important works – Man, The State, and War and Theory of International Politics – provided the framework within, and against, international-relations scholars have argued for much of the post-WWII period.”. He said that the Vita was the ultimate companion device to Playstation 4. I have no doubt that nearly every writer on IR who has contributed to OpenCanada has read not one but both of Waltz's books: Man, The State, and War and Theory of International Politics. He said that Playstation classics like God of War 1 and 2 are coming to the Vita. Spinoza linked conflict causally to man's imperfect reason. The levels-of-analysis issue is a fairly large one in IR and comparative politics. Waltz, Kenneth, Man, the state, and war: a theoretical analysis, New-York: Columbia University Press, 1959.
